Freeze Out Cancer 5K - GIVEAWAY

I ran the Freeze Out Cancer 5K last year.  It was my second 5K ever and I did pretty good.

I just registered to do it again this year on Sunday, December 15th, 2013 at Riverside Park, NY

I like running different 5K's, but this one has a special meaning to me, it's close to my heart.  As a cancer survivor it is something I wish we can do -- "FREEZE" cancer forever.

Last year - Finish Line
Last year was the first race held by the organizers of this event. They did an awesome job in raising money for the American Cancer Society and this year's proceeds will again go to ACS
for this great cause.

The organizers of Freeze Out Cancer reached out to me, and they were nice enough to offer 3 FREE registration entries for the race to the members and readers of Heavy Girl to Healthy Girl.

So if you want to enter for the opportunity to win one of these entries - you have to do the following from October 23rd - November 7th, 2013. (Easy NOT complicated at all):

1. LIKE Heavy Girl to Healthy Girl Page
2. LIKE Freeze Out Cancer Page
3. Post the event on your FB page
4. Tweet about the event
5.  If you have IG - post a picture of the logo FREEZE OUT CANCER

After you have done all of the above, please give your name and tell me that you have done it below in the comments. I will check if you have complied and enter your name for a later randomly name selection.  I will announce the names and give further instructions to register FREE of charge.

Wait!!!! Everyone will be a WINNER -- if your name is NOT chosen, you will be given a special code to get a 10% discount on your registration.  Names will be announced - November 8, 2013.

Good Luck and
I'll See You at the Finish Line!!!!!

  1. Running is a great way to lose weight. It doesn't burn that many calories, but it sure exercises the whole body.

    1. It is a good cardio workout, but like you said it doesn't burn that many calories. I wish it did, but I still like to run. :) Thank you for stopping by and commenting.
